Universal USB Battery - The USB rechargeable battery is charged by the small solar panels so you have power even when the sun isn't available. While the battery is specifically designed to be more efficiently charged with the solar battery charger, it can also be charged using a USB port (normal or high-power) as needed.

Tablets - In all cases, the Spark iPad / Tablet Charger (found <a href="http://www.verdantly.com/Voltaic-Systems-Spark-Solar-Charger-Tablet-Case-p/vs1017s.htm"><b>here</b> </a> ) will charge tablets better than the Switch's smaller four (4) watt solar battery charger. Due to the lower power output, the Switch's solar charger will not charge tablets efficiently. The following tablets will charge slowly however from the USB rechargeable battery included with the Voltaic Switch Solar Bag.

DSLR Cameras - Th e voltage output of the solar charger is manually adjustable from 6 volts to 12 volts. Recharging larger 7.4V digital camera batteries will require the higher 12V setting. An optional camera battery cradle will also be required to charge these types of batteries.

Note:  It is important to remember that solar charging times will always be affected by adverse weather conditions (extreme heat, clouds, rain, etc.) and the angle of the sun in relation to the small solar panels. Angling the panels toward the sun significantly improves charging.

Voltaic Systems solar panels and bags carry a two (2) year warranty from the date of purchase.  Batteries carry a one (1) year warranty due to the nature of battery life and a typical number of charge cycles (300 - 500).  Verdantly will refund purchases returned within 30 days in new condition.
